Hybrid bodies with high-resolution stills and 4K video, for shooters covering both.

Questions
Video camera rental FAQ
More on pickups, payment and policies in our full FAQ and how rentals work.
How much does it cost to rent a video camera?
Camera bodies run from $80 a day for the Panasonic GH5S to $250 for the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2. The Sony FX3 is $180 and the FX30 $125. Kits with a lens and gimbal start at $220, and action cameras at $20.
Longer rentals cost less per day, and your booking page shows the exact price for your dates.
Can I rent a camcorder?
We don't stock traditional camcorders. The closest match is a Sony FX30 with the Sony 24-105mm f/4 zoom: autofocus, one lens from wide to tight, and XLR audio through the top handle.
What comes with the camera?
The Sony FX3 and FX30 come with one battery and one SD card. The XLR top handle for pro microphones is $15 a day, and spare NP-FZ100 batteries are $10 a day each. Kits list everything in the box on their booking pages.
Can I try a camera before I rent it?
Yes. Come by during business hours and try it in store, subject to availability.
Can I rent a camera for the weekend?
Yes. We are closed Saturday and Sunday, so pick up on Friday and return on Monday and you pay the one-day rate.
Do I need insurance or a deposit?
Most orders just need a credit card on file. From $5,000 of gear, we place a security hold on your card at pickup, and take a deposit only if the card can’t take it. Insurance is required once the gear on an order is worth more than $6,000. We partner with FrontRow Insurance for short-term production cover, and our FAQ has the discount code.
Do you deliver?
Yes, by request and for an extra fee, anywhere in Metro Vancouver, subject to approval. Ask when you book.
